Austin Kleon, MFA Blog Contributor

Austin Kleon is a writer and cartoonist. He just moved to Austin, Texas with his wife.

He's trying to figure out where comics and graphic novels fit into the MFA world, if they do at all. He'll be posting about programs that might be hospitable to the rare breed of writers who draw.

You can see his work at www.austinkleon.com.

Really enjoy your drawings and your blog. Made me wish it wasn't four or five years now since I drew anything :o(

This would be a great resource! I'm going for my MFA in poetry this fall and have wanted to find ways to incorporate my graphic novel obsession into my program experience. I realize fiction may be a better fit for that, but I'd be interested in any feedback on that as well.

Best!
