Blog Contributor, M. Ramirez Talusan

M. Ramirez Talusan has spent the past year fiddling with her publication name. In her spare time, she has been attending the MFA fiction program at Cornell University, where she just finished her first year. She did an undergrad English degree at Harvard and an MFA Visual Art degree from California College of the Arts. She is applying to PhD English programs in the fall. She's also working on a novel that's going slooowly.

Hi everyone,

I'm so glad to see these new contributors. I hope to see lots of posts from all of you!

I wonder, though, if there's a way to include a link every time you post that goes back to your original introductory statement (like M's right here). That would be helpful. I can't keep track of all the new contributors and would like to be refreshed about the person posting. Thanks!

couldn't we just have our profiles as part of the picture link? how's that done? I can't even get my damn picture on my profile.

i think mike's idea of putting his picture with every post is a good one in terms of keeping posters straight. connor, what i did was just click on the picture icon that's part of the toolbar when i post. then i uploaded a picture.

Conor,
That's a pretty sweet idea, if it's possible.

PS Hi M. Ramirez

but I meant for the actual blog itself, wouldn't it be better if the picture next the blog were a link to our profile? you know, like, Hey, who is that guy, he's funny, and bam, you find he lives like six miles from you and is under the same agent. like that. right now selecting the picture just gives you a bigger picture. Duh: is what's true.

I agree... but I tried it with my last post and failed. Someone better at HTML know what to do?

i'll screw with it all, try to break somethings

ok, folks, here's how it's done....

1. copy the link to your bio
2. when you post the picture and it automatically gives you the link, you'll see: a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="
3. after the [href="] replace the web address between the quotes with the web address for your bio.
4. ta-da!

i don't know if i'm willing to do this every time though...

so, i just put up an embarrassing photo linked to a thing

i just linked the photo, which is exactly what writing in the href is doing

maybe i'll delete my blog now, unless anyone really likes the question

i was kinda just messin' with the options

yeah, M., you got it right.
