Gustavo Llarull will start the MFA program at UMass-Amherst in the fall of 2007. He has lived for the last five years in Southern California, where he will earn a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California at Riverside before moving to Amherst.
Born and raised in Argentina, Gustavo is interested in the literary, social, and political affairs of Latin America vis-à-vis their counterparts in the United States and the rest of the developed world. He co-coordinates The Garden of Forking Paths, a blog on agency theory.
