Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Rutgers-Newark program (funding, quality of teaching, etc).
I'm originally from NY, (got my AA from NYU too many years ago) but finished up my BA in Creative Writing in St. Pete, FL. The Rutgers program sounds very interesting--enough to make me consider relocating back up north.
Do you live in the area, or will you be commuting in from NY?
Hi Sonia -- I live in New Jersey, about 20 minutes from Newark (I used to live in Queens, but my husband and I moved out here ten years ago when we were starting our family). I am really looking forward to the program so feel free to ask me any questions! Only 26 more days till my first class!!! (Not like I'm counting or anything!!!)
Congratulations! I'm sure the days are both going too slow & too fast.
I'm excited for you and look forward to seeing what you think about Rutgers once you're there.
Amy, so glad to see you here! And it was great to meet you and talk about the program in person. Your kids are adorable, and I admire your committment to both your family and your writing.
