Where Are You Applying? Part 2
The previous "Where Are You Applying?" post is up over 200 comments now, so I'm starting another one to keep it reasonable. Please post where you are applying, which program (fiction, poetry, CNF, etc.) and if you've heard anything back yet (acceptances, rejections, waitlists, etc.)

Last year, I also left after dealing with the MFA group. I can't imagine having to workshop with some of those people.

Way to go to all those with acceptance notifications! For those of us facebookless and still suffering, are there any updates reported in the facebook group that haven't been posted to this thread?
Curious if there's a sense of how close to done Iowa (fiction) is, too...
I'm thinking I didn't get in anywhere. I've only got an official rejection from Syracuse so far, but I've yet to hear from any of the other schools. I'm thinking Ok State has sent out all acceptances already, just as someone else mentioned. I haven't heard from McNeese, Old Dominion, GCSU, GA State, Wichita, LSU, Ole Miss, NMSU. Most of these schools have February deadlines, so I'm hoping they just haven't notified anyone yet. Soooo nerve-wracking.
@monica, hang in there. pretty sure there hasn't been any news out of ole miss, wichita or lsu at least in fiction.
Bunny, did you apply to those schools in fiction? I applied to Wichita, Ole Miss, and LSU in poetry.

Bunny, when did you apply to Ok State and when did they notify you? Still no word from them for me, and I applied there in fiction. I keep checking my online status like mad, hoping they will have updated, but still no word.

For everyone still waiting, I applied to 13 schools and have only heard anything from 2. I think a lot of schools haven't started notifying or are notifying slowly...hang in there!
Would someone do me a favor and post when anyone on the facebook group posts any Boise State acceptances (fiction, not poetry)? At this point I'm not expecting to get in anywhere, but Boise State is the one school left I think I have a chance in hell of getting into. I only ask this because I'm not on the facebook group. I've received what seems to be an automated email from UC Davis saying a decision is being made and my online status will change on 28th Feb.
This means rejection, right? Anyone received anything similar?
monica, i was accepted in fiction to ok state on feb 10th by email, then received a snail mail letter the next day and gta stuff to follow. they have been good about being in contact, but not always super clear in their answer to my questions. from what i understand, they are done notifying accepted students in both fiction and poetry and whoever decides to enroll is what they'll get. so maybe no waitlist?? but maybe they are waiting to a bit to see who chooses them before they see if they want to go back to the applicant pool. i have not given them an answer yet and know of at least two others who haven't either, another in fiction and one in poetry. i bet if you email them, they'll give you some info. i don't think they're trying to be super sneaky or anything!

Anybody know if SIU has started notifying people yet? I noticed on the MFA Research Project that last year, acceptances went out on the 9th and 16th, respectively.
Has anyone heard anything from the University of Arizona in regard to ficiton?
