Helpful Links About MFA Programs:

Poets and Writers.org has long been a terrific resource for beginning and seasoned writers. The site and magazine contains information about fellowships, colonies, publications… you name it. One of the most important resources for writers.

-- Message Board, which includes topics about MFA Programs. You’ll need to create a username and password: http://www.pw.org/speak.htm

-- Lists of Programs in the U.S.: http://www.pw.org/links_pages/Writing_Programs/

I’ll talk more about rankings sometime in the next few weeks, but here is a link to the U.S. News and World Report 1997 Rankings (thanks to Albert Rouzie) -- http://www-as.phy.ohiou.edu/~rouzie/569A/compcreative/University.htm

Angela Jane Fountas answers a few MFA questions on the Seattle Writer Grrls Site --http://www.seattlewritergrrls.org/archive/2001i3_mfahelp.htm

More to come…

Me again, unreliably…here's an online (but unlinked) list of creative writing PhDs…don't know if it's worth adding or not, since it seems to have been abandoned by its creator. Quand même, since there's precious little else out there…

Yours elliptically, the unreliable narrator
