Poets and Writers Message Board

Meliorated in Mass writes to tell me (and you)...

I'd like to offer a plug for the Poets and Writers message boards. While dangerously addictive during response-letter season, the rest of the year it's a mine of information full of those eager to share their experiences. After all, we can't bother you *every* time we have questions. You're a busy man.

Uh oh. Now I'm registered there, too, and though it is enormously helpful, I'm starting to get the eerie feeling that between it and this blog, I'm going to forget to actually, like, apply to any schools this winter.

Anyway, if you do head over there, you might want to avoid the "I Got Rejected" thread. I nearly had an electronic panic attack when I realized that my list was filled with the very same schools that had caused so much misery...

I'll see you over there, BV. It looks like an exciting place--plenty of replies and interesting topics.
