Anna Mendoza is a senior at Bryn Mawr College with a double major in English and Creative Writing. The recipient of two $3.2 K - $3.6 K writing-related summer fellowships and winner of 9 provincial and national contests since age 14, she plans to put off getting an MFA for a few years, although she has done much research on the degree. Visit her database of U.S. MFA programs at creativewritingmfa.blogspot.com (traditional programs) or lowresmfa.blogspot.com (low residency programs). As a contributor to the MFA blog, she will be posting weekly notices about writing contests, writers' retreats, arts festivals, literary journals, and other resources for writers.
