AWP Conference - Early Registration saves $
This is a friendly reminder that early-bird registration for the AWP's annual conference starts September 1, 2009. Maybe, you're living on a fixed stipend (as an MFAer) or just pinching pennies. Either way, who doesn't want to save a little here and there in today's economic outlook? Happy writing and reading. There's still little time left to get back to the beach before summer ends.

I don't know that I can afford to go this year. So sad.
that might be the truth for quite a number without advanced notice or planning...hmmmph.
The hotel where it is taking place is already booked up . . . how bizarre.
Jennifer -- you have to go through the AWP's special link to get to the reservations. The hotel is entirely reserved for AWP guests but once you register you can book your room as an AWP guest.
