For those of you near Milwaukee, the 10th annual Spring Writer's Festival is coming up March 9-11. Along with conference sessions and lectures there will be sub-session workshops and pitch session workshops. There are also individual manuscript reviews available, but you need to send your manuscript in now for it to be considered by one of the presenters.

The presenters include: Ben Ryder Howe, Margot Peters, Cy Tymony, and Dan Vyleta, among others.

Literary agents and editors attending: Kelly Bale, Sue Bradanini Betz, Kurt Chandler, Joanna MacKenzie, Phillip Martin, and others.

For full information check out:
sce-writersfestival.uwm.edu

p.s. If you know of any writers or students in the Milwaukee area who would be interested in this festival, please pass this on. And please, if you know of a blog, website, etc. where this information would be welcome, please link to the website.

Hey! Was just wondering if you know when SB will notify? Thanks :)

Hi @linn,

Applications are being reviewed now and notifications are going out in the order of review. In general, that means you'll get an answer ~4-6 weeks after your application is complete.

Applicants should email the program at southamptonwriters@notes.cc.sunysb.edu if they have any questions about the process.
